MARINA, Calif. — October 27, 2026. Residents seeking action on a traffic or roadway concern can use Marina’s Traffic Advisory Committee, which the city’s calendar lists for Tuesday, November 3, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The committee is a municipal forum where residents can request discussion of a traffic issue. The city says the public is welcome and encouraged to attend, and it provides a Traffic Advisory Request form for proposing items.
How to submit a request
According to the city, completed request forms can be submitted electronically to Public Works staff at lsalazar@cityofmarina.org and sshepard@cityofmarina.org, or delivered in person to 209 Cypress Avenue, Marina, CA 93933.
When describing an issue, residents can identify the intersection or road segment and explain the specific problem—for example, an obstructed sightline, pedestrian crossing concern or confusing traffic pattern. Filing a request does not guarantee that the city will install a traffic signal, speed hump or other improvement.
Is this the City Council meeting?
No. The advisory committee meets on November 3, while the separate City Council meeting is listed for November 4. Residents should check the official calendars for venue, possible changes and participation instructions.
